A new-generation director as well as a Malaysian A-list actor. He has played the leading roles in many TV drama series, including anniversary dramas.

Kyo gave a vivid portrayal of an autistic male by playing the main role in “Guang” the short film. BMW Shorties 2011 & FICBUEU 2021 recognise his acting and awarded him the awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role. In the year of 2018, with “Guang” the movie having been made, he was nominated as the Best Male Lead in the Shanghai Film Festival 2018 and won the award for Best Male Lead in The 13th Chinese Young Generation Film Forum in Wuhan.

Kyo directed his latest short film, “Act 1. Journey to Guang”, and has been successfully selected for many international film festivals in LA, Albania and different countries in Asia.
